Thousands of workers struggle to get by everyday in New York City on minimum wage or just above. These workers stock the shelves of our supermarkets, keep our airports safe, take care of the elderly and make our food.

Starting Monday July 22nd, Council Member Tish James, Council Member Steve Levin, Council Member Jumaane Williams, Council Member Donovan Richards, Public Advocate Bill de Blasio, Council Member Jessica Lappin, and Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez will live a week in the life of one of the workers who keep our city going, while barely making ends meet.
